All types of fingerprinted
ByStephen and I had our FBI clearance check fingerprints done yesterday at our social worker’s office. So check that one off the list! We have soooo little left to do. Just two more little pieces of paperwork and we can finish up! I’m hoping that we can schedule our home visit next week. I don’t know how far out we’re looking as our social worker seems to be really busy, but I’m so excited!
Now it’s rush time on getting the house ready. So much to do!
So I got my hair cut yesterday and, as I posted, I didn’t know how I felt about it. I think I’ve decided. I think I’m not thrilled with it. It’s not the hair cut that’s the problem. It’s EXACTLY like the pictures that I brought in, which is a great hairstyle for my hair type. I think it’s just not the right length. I think it either needs to be longer or shorter, but I’m not sure which. Luckily, I’m seeing a bunch of my girlfriends tonight, so I’m sure they’ll let me know what I should do!

yay for checking things off the list!!!
I know, right?! I feel like we’ve had the longest home study process EVER! I just want to hurry up and be done. I’m so worried that if we don’t get things done ASAP, we’ll get stuck in the court closures. =( So the rush is on!
YAY…fingerprinting…done. I hope those 2 pieces get done fast for you. WOW, things are moving along now, aren’t they?!?!
I think you should post pics of your new hairstyle…would love to see the cut!
Oh, it makes me nervous to show pictures of myself, but okay! I’ll see if I can take one today or tomorrow. =)
Hey Leila,
How’s the hair now that it’s had a bit of time to grow in? I’m sure it looks great!
Would you have time to get together in the next week or two? I’d love to visit (I can come your way) and coordinate, too, to see if we could coordinate to kick off the ET Adoption Group locally. DH is out of town and I’m trying to get some constructive projects underway….like this one.
Paperchasing seems so slow and once you pass court and you’re preparing to travel, time will fly – at least it did for me – seemed there was so much to do that I just couldn’t get motivated to do until after court!
